Segregation rules in detail
Segregation is the gap, the barrier or the separate vehicle that keeps dangerous goods from reacting with each other if a package leaks. This page sets out the rules you apply every time you plan a load.
Insert block
The gap ruleKeep at least 3 metres of clear deck between incompatible classes, measured between the pallets. A segregation device can replace the gap for most classes, but never for Class 1 explosives or Class 2 gases.
